Terms & Conditions
The fee for providing recruitment services is:
12% of the first year’s total annual remuneration.
A retainer of one third of the estimated total fee is invoiced when the assignment is commissioned.
A further one third of the estimated total fee is invoiced when a ‘shortlist’ is accepted by the client
The balance of the actual fee is invoiced when the appointee accepts the offer made.
Where more than one person is appointed as a result of a single assignment, a reduced fee will be agreed for second and subsequent appointments.
The retainer is designed to provide for consulting input during the process of assignment briefing, advertising copy preparation, organisation of advertising schedules, and for the opportunities potentially lost in rearranging other assignments. As such the retainer is generated immediately an assignment is commissioned, and is non-refundable.
In the unlikely event an assignment cannot be filled, or is terminated prior to shortlisting (other than as specified in clause 3), a final account will be calculated according to the consulting time, and other inputs, to the point of assignment conclusion.
Where an appointment is made from within the company, or from any other source, thereby resulting in the completion of the assignment, the whole of the balance of the assignment fee will be charged at that point.
An assignment which has progressed to shortlisting, and which is not in an active search or advertising phase, will be deemed to have been terminated, and will attract a fee as described in clause 2, three months from date of retention.
Should a candidate introduced by ICR International Management Services Pty Ltd and rejected by the client be subsequently appointed by the client within twelve months of the initial introduction, our standard 12% fee will apply.
In the event that a candidate presented to a client by ICR International Management Services Pty Ltd was introduced to a third party (person, other division, other company) by the client within twelve months of the initial introduction, our standard 12% fee will be levied on the client.
Cancellation deadline for print media vary form publication to publication. Advertisements withdrawn past the cancellation time may still incur full media charges.
COSTS ADDITIONAL TO FEES
PSYCHOLOGICAL APPRAISAL - Costs of psychological appraisal will vary according to the complexity and volume of testing and will be charged at cost.
OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES - Approved out-of-pocket expenses will be re-invoiced at cost. Typically, on interstate assignments, this would include air travel, parking expenses, accommodation and meal expenses.
ADVERTISING - Our consulting fee does not include the costs of media advertising and production. These costs will be charged separately at cost.
PAYMENT TERMS - Our terms are 14 days net. No statements are issued.
TOTAL ANNUAL REMUNERATION - This is an agreed figure which comprises base salary (i.e. monies paid on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis), all allowances, bonuses, commissions and vested superannuation benefits. Where motor vehicles are provided as a component of the remuneration package, that component will be calculated as carrying a value of $10,000 per annum regardless of the type of vehicle involved.
GUARANTEE (S) - In the (unlikely) event an appointee leaves, or is terminated for just cause, ICR International Management Services warrants to undertake the assignment again at a consulting fee calculated on a pro rata basis for period up to 6 months from the time of offer and acceptance. The fee will be calculated by determining the total normal fee associated with the assignment, less the amount provided for by this calculation. The retainer fees are levied in the same manner as normal assignment fees. Normal client costs, such as advertising, will be passed on. The guarantee is conditional upon the client having observed our normal trading terms.
